'A Bicycle Odyssey'
Award winning books.
As a contribution to International Environmental Year, Michael Austin and Mel Platt undertook a cycle ride from London to Peking. An 18 month venture turned into a five year 'Bicycle Odyssey' taking in 22 countries and 30,000 km, ranging through Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and some of the worlds most spectacular terrain, across the Karakoram Highway, from Pakistan into China, and onto Japan, with a ride from Tokyo to Osaka.
These beautiful books form a photographic journal of this epic journey and are fascinating for everybody - cycle enthusiast or otherwise.
